Islam Awareness Week 2011 is right around the corner. Be a part of this great event to help inform everyone about the beauty of this religion.

Islam Awareness Week starts January 31, 2011 all the way through February 4, 2011. We have so many exiting and inspirational speeches planned for this week.

"It is the remembrance of Allah [God] which provides tranquility to the hearts." (Qur'an, 13:28)

UIC MSA invites you all to join us for a week-long event to increase awareness of Islamic beliefs, values, and practices.

This is a Great and easy opportunity for all of us to step up and serve this beautiful deen in any way possible, take part in all the activities (volunteering, going to seminars, etc.), be in presence of well- known Muslim Scholars and knowledgeable Speakers from the Chicagoland area and out of state, and try to benefit ourselves and others from this week as much as possible iA!

Arab/Islamic civilization is not a progressive force, it is a regressive force; it does not give impetus, it retards. The great civilization some describe was not an Arab/Muslim accomplishment, it was an Assyrian accomplishment that Arabs expropriated and subsequently lost when they drained, through the forced conversion of Assyrians to Islam, the source of the intellectual vitality that propelled it. What other Arab/Muslim civilization has risen since? What Arab/Muslim successes can we cite?

Actually terrorist awareness week would be when capitalists come and speek to us about how to profit from killing millions of innocent women and children worldwide, how to profit from drug war and trade, how to profit from alchol abuse, and how to legally steal every working Americans' pension, and how to legally enslave every American to debt and taxation.
