The audio was composer's demo.
Another piece from Persistence of Lunacy.

Part 1
The video is a montage of war in Europe but on stage:
In Germany, Dada members were being persecuted, threathening the Surrelist Movement led by French poet Andre Breton and Dali in France. Actually, the movement is on the verge of breaking up, divided between Breton and Dali. Breton against Dali's paintings that depicts Hitler masturbating and Lenin with a swollen behind. Dali fights back: "The only difference between me and the Surrealists is that I am a Surrealist." Meanwhile, Europe is at the brink of war.
Part 2: The video shows a montage but on stage: Dali goes to bed in fear. He covers himself with a blanket. Overhead, war planes began bombing Paris. Dali's creatures from his paintings comes out to life (several mummified woman in the Burning Giraffe painting) and carries the covered Dali out of the stage. This ends the first act. The second act begins with Dali and Gala in America.

  • this is so dark and ominous. I love it. I never saw the painting at 1:15, and I'm a big Dali fan. It looks like an Invaders from Mars card.
