She died from multiple organ failure due to complications with AIDS. She kept her diagnosis from the public. It is believed that she contracted HIV from her husband. The living world lost a true treasure. God called her home. I am HIV positive and she gives me strength as I fight this disease. God bless you Ofra and thank you for comforting me through these difficult days. I hope to meet you and thank you when God calls me home.... but not yet love! I am winning the fight!

To hear her voice is to hear angels singing praise to God in the heavens; we get a glimpse of the heavens when she sings. I imagine she could stop wars with this voice.

So different that I believe a full cure is in sight. The day will come Bama when you are no longer ill. Believe it, ok?
