Transformers Generation 2 - Optimus Prime and Megatron commercial (UK, 1994)

UK version of a rather infamous Generation 2 commercial, from Autumn 1994. There's no prompt to LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF DOOM in this version. I think the music used here is way cooler though.

I bought G2 Optimus Prime that Christmas for myself by selling our ancient Sharp MZ-80B computer for £40 (Google it!) It was as close to G1 Prime as I'd had up to that point. I didn't get G2 Megatron until Christmas of the following year, but he's way better paired off with Laser Rod Optimus Prime anyway.

@G1OptimusConvoy1984 I've got the Takara Collection G1 Jazz from 2002 now so I can kinda take or leave G2 Jazz - there are so many other figs that are way higher up my list. Reveal The Shield Jazz will be a must buy for me though, even if I have to import it.

I remember pestering my dad to get me Pretender Bumblebee while on vacation when I was 10. Went back the next day to get him & he was gone. In retrospect whoever bought him did me a favour!

@asukasboy I think the only places that have G2 Jazz is Action Toys and Ebay though I wouldn't bother getting Pretender Jazz and Pretender Bumblebee for that matter

@G1OptimusConvoy1984 I don't have G2 Jazz but I probably would've gotten him at the time, given the chance. He's not a huge change from the original toy like the Dinobots or Ramjet.

A couple of weeks back I got G1 Pretender Jazz. Now THAT'S an awful, awful toy. Makes me look forward to getting the Action Master Jazz one day, because I know there's no way he could ever be that bad. :p

@G1OptimusConvoy1984 Yes, G2 Prime's toy isn't that bad, aside from the trailer's stickers. He's one of the better repaints in that line, along with Sideswipe.
