The large brushes is known as Jing-zhua or "Peking Grab", which has been used for hundreds of years, suggests that the brush is too heavy to hold in the normal way when loaded so the artist must "grab" the handle in the hand(see picture). It can also serves as a washing brush for large areas or back ground washes. To order one for yourself or get one as a great gift please click the following link:

  • Beautiful! Kinda looks like coral at the bottom of the ocean at the start.

My legs hurt just watching her stay in that position, lol!

  • @OckGal Thanl you!

She practises Yoga so she could do three such paintings in a roll without problem. Do you want to see the other two? :-)

  • @blueheronarts I shoulda been doing that all these years. I have crappy knees and I'm only 32, lol!

Are they online? I haven't been on here for a few days so not caught up yet. Would love to see them tho!

  • @OckGal I just iploaded them. Please check back my channel to see.

Have you heard of the 5 healing color theory? According to that theory, you need to watch paintings with color black, which helps kidney which affect our holman and bones. I think ink bamboo painting would be good for you becaus it comes with strong bones and joits. Yes, I am serious:-)

  • @blueheronarts On my way to look now. I could use some relaxation and your videos always provide that!

Never heard of that but it sounds interesting!

  • @OckGal Here you are:

Black: The healing color of the kidneys.

Red: The healing color of the heart.

Green: The healing color of the liver.

White: The healing color of the lungs.

Yellow: The healing color of the spleen.

Just search for five colors and healing on google to find more info.
