Ball joint and tie rod How To 2001 Ford ZX2 Escort 2.0 DOHC

I ended up smashing the CV boot on the other side while trying to get the ball joint out with the pickle fork. I will be shooting a vid on how to replace the cv boot now..... doh.

I have to replace my upper control arms along with my ball joint and tire rods should I wait until I do all 3 repairs b4 i get my alignment? And can I drive my truck to go get the alignment or do I need to get it towed?

@sayian2k Replace them all at the same time before you get the alignment. Take your truck for a short test ride after you get the new parts installed. If its pulling too hard one way or the other then get it towed so you dont wear your tires unevenly. If you alignment shop is around the corner you could prolly make it there.

ok well how did you get the strut back on! i figured out this much...

@duff0427 Wasnt too difficult, I just muscled it back on there. Put the one bolt in through the top them wiggle the strut till its in place and put the other bolt through.
