Anybody remember the nuclear winter fad in the 60's? It seems to me that the easiest way to stop global warming would be to set off a few megatons every time the earth temp goes up a degree. That way, the nuclear cooling would offset global warming, demand for gas would drop b/c of less people so the price would go down, & I could afford to drive my 1968 Impala SS again!

Doesn't it seem like the 'global warming' cause is tailor made as an excuse for world domination in the name of environmental fascism?

does anyone think that just maybe the earth is going through a cycle just like it did in the ice age? if there is global warming then how can you have global cooling? why did florida get down in the 20s a few weeks ago? just wondering i think it was just something to make al gore richer

@iluv: You may have something there. Seeing the latest pictures of ground zero Hiroshima, we need a few megs in many cities. That place is downright beautiful now. All I ever read in the MSM was how long it was going to be a desolate wasteland. Guess they were not to 'up' on that science either?

Its okay, because the human race will eventually have to realize that we cannot keep living this kind of relationship with our planet and expect to be a healthy and successful species... Our technology is no where near advanced enough to reach another planet that has life on it not to mention there are not that many of them. If we either destroy or use up all our resources we go extinct. Well, then by that time I hope those of us who are ignorant will learn.
