This film was made for the Launch of Scotland Living Wage Campaign. It tells the story of the community of Dalmarnock in Glasgow and its experience of low pay. It looks to the prospect of the Commonwealth Games to be held in 2014 and the legacy the people of Dalmarnock wish to see.

  • I worked in Dalmarnock in the 1990's and remember the people in this video. It seems so sad that the community has been disrupted in this way 'cause it was always a close knit group of people who struggled by in a seemingly forgotten and neglected corner of the city. Lets hope that Dalmarnock can rise from future events and become the proud area it once was. A well presented video from all involved.

  • Nice to see a bit of sanity and articulation, It's about the living conditions of the ordinary working class people of this country. Not about all the red top red herrings. Thanks for posting this vid.

  • oh my god when it goes on to the bit where you see a little dog rufly about 4 minutes that my wee lhasa apso Loui!! x
