Truly this place must be one of the jewels of the earth, or as my uncle from laxdale would call it "Gods own country", loved the boards of canada tunes i've been a big fan since they started on matchbox60 label, if you make another one of these wee films how about plaid for the tunes? have you ever thought about going to orkney or shetland, btw the mod is on lewis next year you should check it out, i've never been to one before myself but i'm gonna go to this one.

NICE VID. In 1976 I was near Tarbert on the West coast. I had pitched my tent overlooking the bay and could see the old whaling tower perched high up on the other side. When the rain stopped, having drizzled continuously for two whole days, I was invited out in a boat to go lobster potting with a kind crofter who had been watching my soggy plight and felt sorry for me. Nice guy. While afloat he told me that in times past the same bay used to be dark red with whale blood!
