Tribute to Sendong Victims

13 January 2012. Musica Chiesa, the chamber orchestra of the Jesuit Music Ministry, staged a concert to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan. The concert was held at the Church of the Gesu, Ateneo de Manila University, with guests, The Blue Symphony and the Ateneo Chamber Singers. We were able to raise Php 65,800.00 for them. The amount was sent to the relief center in Xavier University and will be used to help in the rehabilitation program for those who will live in the 5 hectares of land, donated by Xavier University. On behalf of Musica Chiesa, we would like to thank all of you who gave, prayed and came for our first solo concert. (Video by TJ Sunga)
