"Hello?" said a young voice. "Lauren... I-I-I..." Scotty froze. "Lauren??? Who is this?" ??? said.
Scotty heard a muffle.
"Is this Scotty?" the person asked.
"Um yes?" he replied.
"Hey dontch'ya remember me? Haley?" she giggled.
"Oh yea... hahaha..." he laughed.
"Lauren and I got a new pool so just c'mon down anytime!" she laughed.
"Okay, how 'bout we come down in a bit? By we I mean James, Casey and I." He said trying not to be a burden.
"Mm'kay. Sounds good seeya!" she said.
He hung up. "Grab your swim stuff and lets go down to their house. And yes they're roommates." chuckled Scotty.
They all got packed and walked down to the house.
Knock Knock Knock! Lauren answered the door. "Ohh... Hi. Come in." she said.
Oh my gosh, Lauren lost most of her accent! Haley has an accent? "So nice of you guys to visit. I haven't seen you in so long." said Haley. "Yea," said Casey. "You go on and head out back and we'll be out there." smiled Haley. "Okay." nodded James. They headed out back and sat down on one of the nice chairs. They were blue just like the pool. They came outside in their bathing suits. Lauren wasn't wearing a bathing suit, she was in her jeans and t-shirt. "Lauren c'mon its not fun unless you go swimmin'!" Haley whined. "No!" she muttered sitting on another chair. "Meooowwww..." purred a pretty cat. The beautiful cat was a silver color. Mostly gray on top but a cute white face. It was only a kitten. "Alinda... We don't want you falling in the pool again..." chuckled Lauren. She petted Alinda. "Shhh shh its okay..." she whispered. Alinda was cuddling into Laurens arm. "Aaawww..." said Scotty. He petted the cat. "I used to have a pet cat named Slinky... He... nevermind." Scotty said turning away. (By the way some of these are laurens thoughts.) Why is Scotty acting so... strange. I haven't seen him in so long. After that...
"And the winner of Season 10 American Idol is... Scotty McCreery!" Ryan announced. Whoa.. Congratz Scotty... "Lauren..." He said. "Its 'kay go ahead. I'll always remember you..." I whispered. I'd miss Scotty. I turned my head away and struggled to put a smile on. Not just from the competition just from saying goodbye... "Um..." whispered Casey. Lauren got up to go sit and dip her feet in the pool. Haley jumped in and splashed Lauren's face. "Haley!" she screamed. "Hehehe now you know how I felt this morning!" she chuckled. "Heh no." glared Lauren. She walked inside to dry off.
I was really tired of Haley's jokes. Stomping into the house to get a towel I remembered the one day I loved. "Lauren?" called Scotty. His low voice echoed throughout the hall. "Lauren!!" he called again. I was hiding in my dressing room. Afraid. It was performance night. The finale was all I could think about. "Lauren are you in there?" asked Scotty knocking on the door. "Cm in..." I whispered having my voice crack. "Lauren? Is that you??" said a shocked Scotty. "Ys.." I said. It was so hard to say vowels that day. "Are you alright?" he asked very worried. "Y-No." I said. "Its okay. We'll be together forever." he whispered stroking my hair. "The doc says I have laryngitis. I might just have Haley go in or forfeit. Scotty I-" I started to cry. "Lauren... I-I-I love you." he whispered. What? Scotty... Loves me? "As a sister. Thats why I'm supporting you. We are like one family the five of us." "But... do you promise?" I choked on my own words. "I promise we'll be together...Together Forever."
End of flashback. I opened my eyes. I was crying? I realized what had to be done..
Where is Lauren? She hasn't came out yet. "Hey I'm going to check on Lauren." I said. "You do that..." smirked Haley. "...?" I questioned Haley. Well Haley's always been so immature at times. I walked into the nice house and saw Lauren crying by the counter.
