  • Is your horse Friesian??? is it is it is it? I love Friesians.

  • thanks for the compliment! No, he's not a Friesian, but a Percheron Cross. Kind of a mutt :)

  • thats a really bad habbit your going to create by hand feeding that horse.......that will most likely cause him to start biting wondering where his food is when you dont have it......:[

  • Actually I have been using food as a reward for years and when done right, you teach them to have patience around the food. Oliver never mugs me and is very polite. you can't hear in the video, but I make a clicking noise when he does something right and then he gets his treat. If you would like more information, I would check out clicker training on the web. This is a very positive and science based training method and creates a wonderful relationship.

  • i want that horse!

  • @kcaporale It's so lovely to see more people around the world using this method. It's a brilliant system to use. You and your horse look so lovely!

  • where is that place? it's fantastic!!

  • Beautiful horse and cute dog! I wish I had a horse. THe first time I rode a horse was in Block Island, we rose on the beach, then went back to the stable. The second time was in Lake George and we went through the woods and one of the instructors thought that there was a bee hive next to a rock, so everybody had to go under a bunch of branches and a lot of the people got scratched or their clothes got torn. Luckily, I didn't.

  • heel knap dat uw/jou paard dat kan!

mijn paard loopt aleen een stuk mee , maar op het strand lukt dat echt niet(al geprobeerd)

  • Wauuw! Beautiful video. I'm not so surprised that the horse follows you (they do that instinctively). But I'm amazed that he doesn't run home to the stable after a while *g* - that you can depend on him 100% and actually walk on the beach with him without a leash.. Beautiful..

  • Wow, that is just so beautiful to watch. I am new to horses, and I'm afraid I'm not quite comfident enough in the saddle yet, so I have just begun clicker training my mare, Rose. She is young(just barely 3) so it is kinda helping both of us take those baby steps up and build trust. It is going wonderful but it's still taking a lot of work. Seeing this reminds it will all pay off. Thank you! :)

  • My god, that horse is amazing.

This video, and this video alone has

changed my mind completely on my plans with horses. My dad and I were going to purchase a mare and breed her, using clicker training with the foal. I am now 100% positive I am going to adopt a pmu rescue.

absolutely gorgeous gelding. i love him.

  • It really made me wish I was there on the beach with another horse. Lovely!!!

  • Wow! I am so impressed. I trick train, but this, This, I have to learn more about. I tried it once. I will have to try it again. Too bad you are so far away. Maybe I will see you on the Imagineahorse yahoo group. Again, very very impressed.
