I have a 5w usb solar panel. it gets very hot in the sun because it is black. so it may not be the best idea to build this tech into phones with lipo batteries. my iPhone 5 will not charge from it because it not stable mah output. my htc devices will charge from 0-100% in about 2hours with direct sunlight. panel was only 22£ on ebay.

I switched from Android to iPhone, specifically from a Samsung Galaxy S2 to an iPhone 5. My older Galaxy S2 was much better than my newer iPhone 5. It was more responsive, it never locked up, and it was more durable. My iPhone 5 is much slower, it locks up, and I've broken 3 of them despite the fact that they were in a Ballistic Hardcore case. If you used an Android that was earlier than the Gingerbread OS, it's come a long way since then. Everything before Gingerbread sucked.
