What's money to you? If you're not careful, your relationship to it can dictate your relationship to others. For more from Pastor Bob, go to www.activeword.org/blog
God bless you Pastor Bob. I have an inheritance left to me by my mother. I am 100% grateful for what I've been getting, but my sister, the trustee has been losing some of my money in the stock market with NO remorse. A wise Christian financial counselor told me to get my money quick to invest it wisely so she doesn't lose everything. That money is what I live on and give on. And sir, I am not greedy. I have a heart to be like GOD and be a blessing to people besides being blessed.
Pastor Bob, Please do a sermon on Gambling. One of my dearest friends has a serious problem and he has become interested in your ministry. I could get him to watch if you do it, Thanks, Beckey G
So many people make their decisions based on what will help them to maintain or acquire money in every area of their life. The irony to me is that so much of it is wasted because we somehow have it in our heads that some certain possession will make us happier. It never does and we then start to see the unnecessary item as junk or clutter.
I cry every time I watch your services online. It took me 29 years to find a church that really changed my ways of seeing things (I was baptized there on 10/18/08) and then I had to leave It's depressing :( But I know God is everywhere, and it's not about me, its about Him. I just ask for your prayers that I feel better about this. Christiane
Pastor Bob, I miss you :( I miss Calvary Chapel. I moved to Houston, TX in January 2009 and I've been going to Lakewood Church. I love the Praise and Worship that they have there and I do like Pastor Joel Osteen but I can never feel the same way I felt at Calvary. Joel preaches a lot of "prosperity" and I miss the "salvation" sermons. It' shouldnt be all about money, money, money..I totally agree...I wish there was a Calvary Chapel here with your videos.
When I received Jesus into my heart, my heart changed to know that everything on earth is temporal, including money. Our Lord Jesus, by no coincendence, is the provider of everything we need. But a lot of people forget that He gives, AND He also takes. Money isnt everything, Jesus is. The love of money destroys everything, but when we focus on Jesus, He heals the wounds and restore what was destroyed. Our focus shouldnt be on money, but on Jesus, because His ultimate love is everlasting.
@Germella Amen...Too many of these "Pastors" take credit for God's work....Evangelical Christianity is a joke

how do you knows when it's the right path to choose when it comes to money, let's say if you choose one job over another

I would recommend any church over Joel Osteen. Any. You will rot spiritually at his church as he does not teach the word.
