This is the acoustic Jazz version of the tune posted below as a video response .
As I was exclusively playing archtop guitar during some long years , I thought that having not featured yet that fabulous carved top made by Pierrick Brua was unfair !
The beautiful nylon guitar in the second part is made by luthier Yvan Jordan
Both of them along with Gerard Beuzon are great luthiers as long as friends ;

The filming was made by Xavier Queyrel and the recording and mixing by Reynald Evrard both of them great people and close friends ;

It's fun to compare both versions and thank you for listening !
Pascal

  • @TheGuitarjerry1126 So glad you liked it ,Jerry ! Archtops are really unique instruments and this one is carved like a cello , so here you can hear the amp mixed with the acoustic sound .

    I played this guitar for 13 years now and asked the luthier friend who made it , many modifications throught the years : But I drove him mad when I asked him to change the original ebony fingerboard for a really thick rosewood one !

    Thank you Jerry my friend , for listening and the good vibes !!

  • Pascal! This is wonderful playing, my friend! I love both guitars sound wise, but, I am partial to your first part using your sunburst arch top guitar. My first guitar that I ever owned was a sunburst arch top f hole jazz guitar like the one you are playing in this video. Truly a magnificent instrument, indeed and I really love what you are playing on it in this video, my friend. Happiness, always, Pascal, Jerry

    TWO THUMBS WAY UP THERE!!

  • @JarekRekinsky So glad you liked it Jarek, and thanks for the good vibes !

  • @francknicolasvideos Merçi Franck , on pourrait imaginer aussi ce morceau avait un super chorus de trompette dont tu as le secret !
