Until June 2009 our custom liner-free soap molds were made of high-density polyethylene (H.D.P.E.). After experimenting with using clear acrylic to make some soap molds, I have decided to switch over from H.D.P.E. to Acrylic. The Acrylic costs almost twice as much for me to purchase than the H.D.P.E. and that is why, up until now, I havent offered it. The reasons I am switching over are because the Acrylic releases the soap so much easier, it is much neater to work with and will take less labor.
