Lighting Charcoal in a Weber Smoky Mountain Smoker with a 100,000 BTU Propane Torch (aka "Weed Burner"). Only really needs 1 minute or so but went for 2 minutes for viewing purposes. These can be had for $30-50 online easily and bolt right up to any standard Gas Grill Propane tank.

  • Hope he doesn't miss and hit his super dead grass lawn

  • @mbudd121 - It's called "dormant" not dead... and it's how 90% of the lawns in this country look in the middle of winter (when this was shot/posted)

  • Hmm, sounds like you used 5 times the propane needed for the grill...

  • @pendejadafcc Maybe, but who grills over propane?!

  • ....better run through the jungle...

  • @savard901 people who want better taste

  • @savard901 my dad

  • i think he's bbq'ing the charcoal

  • @fatrabbitbrain Chimney is fine for most instances. However this is a great tool for when you want to be up and cooking instantly, or if you need a full ring of lit coals for a high temperature cook. Regarding the waste of gas, it doesn't use much fuel at all.

  • What a waste of gas. Just get a chimney starter

  • id like to light a giant bowl with this

  • @sparklerbombg Just buy a weed torch (seen in this video). It connects right up to a standard Propane tank used with propane grills.

  • do u know if it is possibe to make a torch out of a propane tank, the ones used for bbqs?.if so, how do i do it

    thanks

  • @chimross Or for people who like nice evenly lit charcoal in a fraction of the time it takes with a Chimney.
