@fabulbabe . TV intros ran shorter in the 1990's. But in the 80's, they still ran long. I miss the 80's a lot. This was a Golden Age of TV series. There's nothing to watch on TV now, it's a bunch of reality show garbage. What happened to television ????

Perfect Strangers was the first show to mindfuck me into "welcoming the characters into my living room". It's kinda cool looking back on it with fond sentiment, but I'm reminded of how it paved the way for my doomed obsession with my neighbour, Kimmy Gibbler. Still, I can't stay mad at Balki! Family Ties, on the other hand, did absolutely nothing for me.

@AmericanEvita The world moved on is what happened. I love the 80's as much as you, but in 30 years some dude is going to be reminiscing about (God Forbid) Jersey Shore and shit so who are we to rob him of that experience?

We get older and we hate the new stuff, just like we used to complain about our parents 'not getting it' when they sneered at MTV or whatever.
