5:42- one of the few times Jack actually revealed his real birth date- he WAS born in 1894 (on February 14th).

I can't find it in my area either. It must be a real rarity.

the isolation booth spinning around and around hahaha how's anyone suppose to "concentrate"? and then Hal's slow dissent into dizziness. viewers of the actual game show who may have seen this were probably laughing out loud or annoyed that the game show was being spoofed, with the actual host no less, which makes it funnier.
my grandparent's and I used to watch Jack's TV show on PBS on Sunday mornings. It aired from 9am-10am, 2 episodes. It hasn't been on in my area since 1991 or 1992.

The Ginger Rogers episode was filmed, and was included in the syndicated package, 'hwy'. The plot concerned Jack trying to get her and Fred Astaire to professionally reunite on his TV show. But Fred can't make it at the last minute [naturally!], so guess who fills "his" dancing shoes (and tux) for the "big production number" with Ginger?

At 6:41, Don added, "Next week, be sure to see John Forsythe in 'BACHELOR FATHER'. Jack Benny's next TV program will be two weeks from tonight, with his special guest star, Ginger Rogers. 'THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM' was brought to you by Lucky Strike- product of THE AMERICAN TOBACCO COMPANY, America's leading manufacturer of cigarettes. This is Don Wilson, reminding you to 'Be Happy- GO LUCKY!'".
"Ed Sullivan is next, on the CBS Television Network".

Of course, this print is missing Don's emergence from the curtain at 3:42 , saying, "Jack will be back in just a moment, but first- here's a word for cigarette smokers..", leading into the Lucky Strike commercial. At 6:17, Jack said something like, "Ladies and gentlemen, be sure to see John Forsythe in 'BACHELOR FATHER', next week...and I'll be back, two weeks from tonight, when my special guest star will be...GInger Rogers. Good night! {blows a kiss to the audience as he walks off stage}".

Seems I remember a similar version of that sign off in another episode.
