Just a short video of the life of my lovely Yamaha.
I brought it in September 2010 and picked it up from the showroom at 12 in the morning when they were releasing bikes on the 11 plate!
I then road it to work and back, to a friends house on a weekend, 18 miles away. I did many 100+ mile journeys.
I rode it in all weather, not cause I have to, I did it by choice..
I then passed my test, so I took off my L's!
To then fall off in bad weather and road conditions.
Me and my Dad spent weeks repairing the panels, and all the other odd bits and bobs.
We then rode over 250 miles to Wales and back, From Birmingham(ish).

One night I was meeting some friends over a nature reserve.
I phoned my friend to ask if my bike was going to be all right in a disused pub carpark hidden behind a pub, he said yes. Many people park there cars there to talk the dog for a walk, and so on..
30 minutes later we heard it rev up and disappear.
2 days later it showed up on our street, and before anyone had caught it it was gone again.
4 days later a friend phoned "I've found your bike", and there it was, thrashed, abused and destroyed.
The police kindly recovered it, the "rider" (with his obvious lack of riding skill!) had hit another car, and dumped it on the footpath.
My insurance then took 2 months to assess the damage, after £140+ phone bills chasing up my claim, to find out it hadn't moved from the storage yard, it was then written off, and I wasn't paid out. (GroupAma insurance, if interested, spend the extra money and get insured by a proper insurance company with back up, oh, and people skills)
I got £1,000 salvage, and lost my no claims.

Keep it locked up, if they want it, they'll do there best to have it.
Thanks to the waster who stole it and destroyed it, hope you lose your fingers or something.
