Beverly Hills 90210 S10E27 Part 3/5: The Penultimate

David expresses his feelings for Donna by writing her a giant love note in the sand. He is understanding about her reluctance to accept his proposal. He believes that she is having trouble reconciling her dreams of the perfect marriage with reality. A talk with Janet prompts Donna to realize that her expectations have been unreasonable. She tells David that she loves him and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Dylan graduates from California University. Matt considers moving to New York to help her sister-in-law raise his child (for whom he was the surrogate father). He declares that he will stay in Los Angeles for Kelly. Kelly, unable to fight her feelings for Dylan, calls off the engagement. Matt assumes that Dylan told her about his indiscretion in the desert. Kelly lashes out at Dylan for failing to disclose this information. Janet is distressed to learn that she must compete for the editorship of Nouveau, which Yoffe had led her to believe was already hers. She feels left out as Steve strenghtens his bond with Maddy. Ellen asks Noah for a commitment in order to protect Caitlin from potential heartache. He declines because the relationship is moving too quickly for him.

@ChicagoTyme actually he went back earlier to..its was just supposed to be a secret...thts why when he says he is graduating its supposed to be a sort of shock...

I agree, it really doesn't make sense. He did go to college before, but it's not like he would've had enough credits to graduate by now. But they obviously wanted him to graduate before the series ended, even if it wasn't realistic lol.

@lisa1695 lol. ok, this is what I meant. I know Dylan went to college with them back in 94 for at least a year, but then he dropped out. Now he went back to school in this season after he made the deal with that girl he once knew, and now he's graduating from college just like that? How the hell did he graduate so fast? lol

I love her hair now actually (straight or curly) and the streaks are a nice touch. I hated when she chopped off all her hair a few seasons ago.

Yeah at first I was thrilled they were bringing back 90210 especially when I heard that some of the original cast would be making appearances but now with VERY few appearances from old cast members and the fact that certain things have happened that we (as original 90210 fans) would probably rather not have had to watch or hear about such as Donna saying she & David split up, Jackie Taylor coming back just to die, and now Kelly leaving the show, I think the show won't last long.

If i recall correctly they started going to college in Season 4 which was 1994-ish I think. Its season 10 now so that is like 6 yrs. I realize Dylan didn't start going to college on the first day of school with everyone else but I'm pretty sure he started within the first two months or so. That said, I don't think the time in between is an impossible amount of time for him to actually graduate.
