  • Nas WON an Emmy (2011) for the ESPN documentary 'Survival 1.' The documentary follows the journey of amputee victims of the Liberian civil war who form a soccer team and eventually became champions. Nas did the narration, scored the music (song "Shot Em Up" displayed in this video) and produced the award winning documentary. This interviewer seemed to be not in touch with Nas' GREAT body of work. Nas is a true lyrical GENIUS...POET! He is beyond being just a rapper…Nas is the GOAT!

  • @DAVN121 You are fucking stupid or white. This guy is a professional doing a good job actually letting a good rapper come on mainstream TV and explain his points of view. Would you rather him have on lil wayne and be like "yo yo my nigga"?

  • @jancrow23 Why would you add in "or white". Way to keep alive the race card.

  • We also have the censor board for a reason to not let any films to exploative or dangerous to get made. but to say a movie like Goodfellas shouldnt get made is just ridiculous. and Nas is the Scorsese of rap so for him not to make a violent song is stupid. he does it tastefully never exploitive and he is a great artist. and like he said not all his music is violent of course that's what they picked to air on the show cause violence get ratings.

  • (2/2) But a smart person will watch it and say a gangsters life is not for me, i don't want to die or go to jail or rat on my friends. The world is less violent after the invention of film then it was any time before the invention of films. Of course powerful movies and music do inspire people to do dumb things but the percentage of it compared to all crime in the world is miniscule. also i think it woudl be more dangerous to not be able to make Goodfellas, Casino, The godfather etc.

  • (1/2)If writers, directors, actors, musicians all stopped talking about real life violence and instead talked about flowers it would be dangerous because violence would still go on in the world but by watching films about violence example Goodfellas we see how all the mobsters die or go to jail by the end so if we didn't have this beautiful film to teach us about the whole cycle of a gangster people wouldn't get put off by the dying or jail and would just jump into it,

  • @jancrow23 Stupid or white? You racist faggot

  • @The12Jacob my thoughts exactly.

  • @80sDon get over it? lol, I'm not a feminist(if a woman doesnt like to hear the words bitches and hoes than she is label a feminist)! now who is throwing labels?

  • @southernbrooklyngal There's just a double standard with you want to be feminist today. You can have men half necked or at least parading around shirtless with ripped muscles in most chick flicks & TV show, but when you see women doing the same thing it's disrespectful to women... Get over it...
