From that photo of her i saw, she was the most depressed, miserable soul on earth. At that time,(after Albert died), her physicians should have not been afraid to consider to her that she simply quietly retire from the throne, and allow an heir to run the very stressful, insanely busy show of government.

@andysort Marie of Romania was Queen Victorias Grand-daughter. Prince Albert Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the son of Victoria and Albert, married Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia and it was their daughter who was to be Marie of Romania.

@sarahsarahsarahsaful Lord Hastings, 2nd Marquess of Hastings, Was Lady Flora Hastings brother and her husand was John Conroy. An Irishman whom the Duchess of Kent had come to rely on (shady character). Baroness Louise Lehzen was the governess to Queen Victoria.

Queen Victoria is godmother of one of our royals! Not to mention, he is named after Prince Albert! And He would've became King of Hawaii, but sadly, he died at the age of 6!

Not to mention Queen Victoria's relationship with Hawaii in general runs very deep! Especially towards our royals!
