Honor Sue B!!

Dear Friends & Family,

Our Mom, Sue Bangert, was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer last November in 2008. When she was diagnosed, she was in perfect health. She ate well, exercised everyday, and is the queen of "positive mental attitude". This has come as a total blow to our entire family, but especially to Mom. Throughout her fight no matter how tired, uncomfortable, or in pain she has been, she continues to amaze us with her positive, upbeat outlook on life and never complains while fighting this awful disease.

Mom/Sue has been an incredible mother, mentor, sister, leader, wife, co-worker, volunteer, counselor, neighbor, community advocate, and friend to so many people who dearly love her. Words can not describe the amazing impact she has made dedicating her entire life to others. Words can also not describe how surprised and in shock we all are about the current situation. But the good news is we still have time to tell her and show her how much we love and support her.

We thought the National Free To Breathe event would be one way we could combine all our efforts towards honoring Mom/Sue and contributing towards a great cause.

If you would like to join us for the National Free To Breathe walk to honor Mom/Sue B, we will be meeting at the Muni in Wayzata on Saturday Nov.7th at 11:00 a.m. Registration is $15.00 and please RSVP to bridgetlackie@yahoo.com. The walk will begin at 11:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the National Lung Cancer Partnership non-profit organization.

If you can not attend the walk but would like to meet us afterwards, we will be at the Muni from 1:00 p.m. throughout the afternoon.

If you would like to make a donation to the cause, please click on either the "Make a Gift" or "Donate to Bridget" link which will securely go directly to the National Lung Cancer Partnership non-profit organization.

Thank you again for your ongoing support, thoughts and prayers. Mom/Sue continues to be an inspiration throughout this ordeal and would not be where she is today without each of you.

We hope to see you on the 7th!!

Big hugs, Bridgie and Sarah xoxo
