The producers really like cliffhangers,the ending with Joe Piscopo that couldn't be for Capital Edge and the announcement on the radio were pretty dramatic.

@SummerNight79 Agreed, the producers of this show love to have cliffhangers. Randal's task is now much more difficult that Rebecca's task, now that the rain is falling, so they decided to have Joe pull out of Rebecca's event just so her job is once again almost as difficult as Randal's.

Rebecca is a class act. 22? I'm 30 and there's no way I would have kept such a cool head. I would hire her over Randal. He may have the better record and education but she inspires more confidence in her team. I totally rate her as a business woman. Top drawer.

@willia3r I think Josh would have done better as a leader here... he had the appropriate level of compassion without losing sight of the $-business-sponsor focus, while getting along well with everyone (whereas Randal seemed pissed that the one sponsor had to come and say "yo, time to get sh*t done for real!" because he clearly WASN'T getting it done, and he seemed to think he was above hard labour/getting Mark some real help.... I still liked him overall though ;)

That's not much different from life, don't you think? The corporate world isn't exactly a walk in the park. These days with downsizings & increased taskings, the average American worker in the corporate world is being forced to do more with less support.

Boy, Randal kind of sucks in this last task... the way he's handling the charity aspect, the way he handles the "you better get $*** done" meeting with the contact, the way he lets Mark work like a dog, etc.... booo!! :(

I think that they asked Joe Piscopo to cancel his performance just to see how Rebecca performs under those circumstances and pressure. They always do something like that in the final tasks.
