A week later all the plans to meet up were set. Jen's mom was picking the girls up from school early and taking them to meet the boys at a restaurant downtown. Jen was texting Nick the whole ride to the city. After they ate it was going to be off to the arena for soundcheck. "They're already there. We're going to be taken to thier table." Jen told her mom and Morgan. "Alright, calm down girls; we're almost there." Mrs. Tenegro said. Both girls screamed. Yeah, they'd been talking to those Jonas boys for a week, but now they were meeting them; eating with them. When the girls got the the California Pizza Kitchen at Harborplace (Baltimore City - it's kickass.) they almost died. In a minute they'd be meeting the Jonas Brothers; 30 seconds; 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. "Jen? Jen Tenegro?" It was Nick, curly haired, tight pants (oh good lord) with a diet coke in hand. Yep, it was really him. Nicholas Jerry Jonas. Oh good Lord. "Yeah, hey!" Jen squeaked out. "Hey Joe, Kevin," Morgan said nodding to each in turn; Jen was amazed at how calm she was. Morgan had gotten nervous talking to them on the phone and now she was chill about talking to them in person? Wow, go Morg! "Sit down ladies. Let's order, I'm hungry." Joe said, smiling. "'Course you are," Nick mumbled. Jen laughed. These boys were funny, and she and Morgan got to spend the next the next few hours with them; alone. Basically, this was the day she'd been waiting for. "One question: what do you call this place if you don't wanna say the whole name?" Kevin piped up. (AN: A nonsense question -- but you guys need to know. Not really, whatever.) "CPK!" Morgan and Jen shouted, then they all cracked up. "CPK it is then." Kevin laughed. Just then a waitress came up; all smiles. She asked everyone what they wanted to eat. She smiled huge at the boys, and when she got to the girls her face fell a little bit. Yeah that's right bitch, you're jealous, Jen thought. Everyone ordered something different, and they shared all the pizzas. When it came time to pay Jen reached for her purse to get out money for her and Morgan's pizza. Nick stopped her. "Nope, we got it. Put your money away girl," Nick told her. "No way, you're already covering the whole concert thing; you aren't paying for my food too." Jen insisted. "It's no problem, I'm a;ready paying for you," Nick argued back. "Jen stopped insisting. She knew Nick wanted to be a gentlemen, so she let him. Morgan relentlessly asked the boys to let her and Jen pay tip, and they did. As they all headed for the car Nick smiled, he liked Jen. She was nice, and he knew that they were friends now. If tonight's plans went well, he hoped that they'd be more than that. (AN: Ahhahaha, they'd "Be more" in B-more!) When everyone got in the car they started towards First Mariner which was just a few blocks up the street. "You two excited?" Nick asked them.
"Majorly," Jen said. she hasn't yet been to a Jonas concert where they were the headliners. She had no idea what to expect. "So like, where are our seats at?" Morgan asked. "Like, what seats?" Kevin mocked her. "You don't have seats; you're watching from backstage." Morgan and Jen's jaws dropped in that "OMJ!" fangirl way that the boys saw all the time. "Are you serious?!" They both blurted . "No." Joe said bluntly. Thier faces fell so fast it wasn't even funny. "He's only joking!" Nick said fast, they looked like they were going to cry. "Oh!" Jen smiled. Damn I love it when she smiles. Nick, you like just met her; you're falling for her already? Nick was thinking and kinda staring off. "Nick? Nick? You there babe?" Jen waved her hand in front of him. He was just kinda sitting there, staring at her. It was weirding her out. "Babe?" Nick questioned as he snapped back to reality. (AN: and oop! there goes gravity...) "That what she calls everyone." Morgan told him. "Gotcha," Nick replied. Damn. "We're here boys," The driver called back to them. "It's showtime," Jen sighed quietly to Morgan. Morgan drew in a deep breath and stepped out of the car. Jen followed suit.
