In the summer of 2007, a trip to the farmers' market in Leesburg, Virginia, afforded me an opportunity to explore the importance of local food and culture, and the value of shopping at these markets.

  • Nothing Catholic about fruits and vegetables per se, but the notion of agrarian work as edifying, bringing us closer to the God who created nature, and working with local economies are all part of a Catholic ethos.

    This video was done for a Catholic blog about the restoration of certain themes in society, hence the thematic material in the video.
