I tried this playing scrummy and it worked couldn't believe my luck

@dropscones - His punishment wasn't to miss the Lions tour, he was banned for 12 weeks right at the end of the season. It just so happened that during those 12 weeks the Lions tour took place. The Duncan Mcrae incident is incomparable as they aren't the same offence. Ifyou want to complain, then look at the stupidly inadequate ban given to Schalk burger for gouging Luke Fitzgerald about six weeks later. 8 weeks was pathetic! And I dont feel sorry for him, gouging is cheap, intentional or not.

@PhilTheDrummist Doesn't mean you can't feel for him. Missing the lions tour is too harsh a punishment for an action that was found to be careless rather than malicious by the disciplinary panel. Especially when you consider Duncan Macrae only got seven weeks for assaulting ROG, five weeks fewer than Quinlan got.

Only Neil Back can do this lol

quinlan is a legend i feel sorry for him that he never got to tour with the lions. was and still is the most underrated rugby player in ireland.

To be fair, every aspiring back row has tried that. Just that as the game got professional, it's not likely to ever be repeated.
I love the choice of words by the pundits "worked his magic".

@nzcalling Learned from Neil Back. Amazing how Munster complain at Backy for that Heino Final ruse but they clearly see its benefit. Except Back wasn't caught!
"Tries his hand"
I see what you did there.

@Immatureboy09 - he never got to tour with the Lions because he gouged Leo Cullen. He has no-one to blame but himself.
