@ThisLazyMan Michael did use his money, buy you don't have to believe me, look up for yourself. He gave away over $300 million dollars to different charities, not to mention his time and love. What more can one person do? If he didn't get his message out on an award show, where was he supposed to do it? On the street corner and get mobbed? A commerical? No matter what Michael Jackson did or did not do, he still would have been criticized by people who have done far less or nothing at all..

@vallieegirl maybe he should have used his money instead of miming a song on an awards show to save the world. no?
-
HIs face is what's so wrong! He and many here missed the whole point of what Michael was trying to do. He never claimed to be Jesus. He said he wanted to be like him. Jesus came to save the world. Michael was trying to save our planet through song. He was always using metaphors to get his point across. Lighten up people!

Jarvis is completely in the wrong here, but I still think it's hilarious and wouldn't want him to have done any differently.
-
@wattdabny No, I don't think you get the point. Earth Song wasn't supposed to be what others wanted to hear. It's about getting a point across that there is just too much destruction and devastation. Okay, you may think that Jarvis was right, but just think about how YOU would feel... It's not fair -.-"

Jarvis is so laid back, it somehow gives weight to what he's saying - him just suggesting that michael jackson should get a bit of reality in his life makes the whole affair seem ridiculous.
-
@wattdabny I disagree completely, 'Jarvis the conceited' did this to boost his own ratings and ego at the time and was clever about it by picking his moment and preying on a weak individual whilst pretending there were actually some ethics behind it all! Clowns like you fuckin' fell for it! Michael was fucked up admittedly but pretending to be god,I strongly doubt it,looked to me like he was preforming just as he always had done. People make me sick; put your pick axes away you fuckin' sheep!
-
@gracelevy he was trying to be god you idiot

what a dick. why ruin someone else moment on stage, just cos of his own opinion. maybe he should get a bit of reality into his life and realise the important issues MJ was trying to convey in his performance.
@jd8571 He was quite famous when it happened... And what he did was so right.

@jd8571 jarvis was at the height of his career in pulp in britain at that time. what he did was right. all the shit on the earth song was in totally bad taste. jackson couldve probably eradicated the third world with his own pocket rather than pretending to be jesus with a shite tune. long live eccentric british music and its musicians
