A video was recently posted on some Apple rumor sites, the video looked a lot like my early interface designs for Multifl0w. As you can see in the video, you swipe a little bit on a card, and it goes into "close mode", and from there you can just tap it again and it closes. You can put multiple cards into close mode and close them quickly. If you tap anywhere that's not on a card when a card is in "close mode", the card will come back from "close mode" (like deselecting it). I opted not to continue with this interface, some of my early beta testers found it too confusing. I decided to just go with the x button style instead.

I never released this to more than ~4 people, I am positive that it is not the same thing as viewed in this video. I just thought this was interesting. I have also never shared my source with anyone (except DHowett), so I'm sure that what is seen in the leaked video is nothing from me.

It would be cool to see an official Apple implementation of this style of multitasking. I think Apple probably has something like it in testing at least (possibly even what's been leaked) but they're just wanted to spread out the release of their goodies. From a marketing perspective, it would make sense, they need to give people a reason to buy their new devices. Just my opinion...
