Skyrim - Obtaining Azura's Star

This is like my 5th Draedic Artifact. I have to say this one is very easy unless you let the person run farther inside the Star.

The artifact is some sort of Soul Gem that can be reused over and over again. Ofcourse you have to fill it again but it won't be destroyed. It holds the largest possible soul that excists. It will fill your weapon to max.
Not the best item to have in my opinion but still.. it has his uses..

i just got the star, and im using the mace of malog bal, which has a soul trap enchantment, i droppped all my gems except the star, and every time i kill sonething, it says no gem large enough.

@MrAnderson97531 U need to be aware of the fact that you can only fill the Azure Star by killing an animal. When you got the Black Star you can only fill it when killing Humans. Im not sure if the enchament on the Mace triggers correctly whith the Star. You should try using Soul Tap. If that doesn't work, try to search around the Internet. Im sure alot of people got questions for this item since I had alot to at the beginning.

How do you fill the thing? I soul trap something like a troll or bear, but it just says no soul gem large enough... >.> I thought azura's star can be endlessly filled...

@LambentFlare It can be endlessly USED. When you get Azura's Star and trap an animal whith it. it will fill when all other Soul Gems are full or when it is the only high soul gem.

just find a mammoth and own it, it wil fill when u use spell or u have the enchant on any wep :p

fuck this was easy for you, because of some bug, because i can't move to freeze the motherfucker until the chat is over and then he runs way and i have to fight all the dremora..
