  • @1960jimmy Their version of Body & Soul is soooo beautiful. The impression that their intro on Body & Soul always had on me was a synthesis of varying aspects of love. On one side is the elegance and other worldly granduer of being in love (Stephane's part). On the other side is the grit and rawness that also comes with love (Django's part). That kind of emotional union in the instrumentation and melody is, for me, a major part of what makes their version of Body & Soul just sublime.

  • Just as every nationality has it's beautiful women so does every instrument have it's beautiful master. The guitar is as common as the air we breath. I've been playing guitar for 33 years now and have always loved it. About 15 years ago I also became passionate about the electronic theater organ. The organ is also as common as dirt, but it is the most misunderstood instrument on the planet. watch the electronic theater organ (ETO) rendition of by HD7100 , I'll See You In My Dreams. It's a good 1

    You are extremely well-informed Sir.

According to Django's biographer Charles Delauney, that was exactly how this track came about. Delauney wrote a great book btw!
