Brett Favre's second day of practice with the Jets. This was him running a lap with Nick Mangold, the center for the Jets, after he fumbled in practice.

  • Rex Grossman would be running a lot of laps if he played for the Jets.

  • oo thats very dangerous for someone of his age. he might break a hip or get a heart attack. soon hes gonna need a walker on the field with him

  • If you really want to look at stats, Favre has one the lowest INT to pass attempt ratios among hall of fame QB's lol

  • @toolkien Well of course HE fumbled it every so often, but that is to be expected. It's not like the quarterback is immune to having the ball stripped from him.

I'm sure most of those fumbles are bound to be his fault, but I'm also sure that there were a few cases where the running back was to blame.

Then again, 20 years of playing football. He's bound to have a lot of turnovers, even though many of them were preventable and shouldn't have happened, especially with a veteran quarterback.

  • @frostyflakes96 Favre would drop it for no reason whatsoever. But, even IF you are saying they are related to handoffs, why would it happen more often just for Favre, especially considering he played in a WCO his entire career. Lastly, the reason the QB is credited with the fumble, is because it is HIS job to get it where it is going. He touches the rock on every play, he is the field general, he is the one who is responsible. Simply put, Favre was a turnover machine. It harmed his teams.

  • Apparently, Brett Favre has more fumbles than any other player in his career.

I'm willing to bet he didn't actually fumble THAT much. When the running back doesn't get the handoff, the quarterback is credited with the fumble. So he's not THAT bad.

    Just an interesting statistic.

  • No wonder why he missed training camp.

He got tired of running for his screw ups!

  • @PRESTON58CENT Yeah but 19 this year

  • I heard he averaged 2 picks a practice back in green bay. and when percy and sidney were injured in minnesota you can only imagine how much he averaged then.

  • I'm not sayin Warner didn't have a strong arm he was an nfl qb so he obviously did... just not as strong as favre... he was way more accurate in my opinion though
