Kudos for YOU! That's right, I will be selfish when it comes to choosing a HUSBAND and FATHER for my future kids. I don't have kids! I was a responsible teen and young adult. Just like abortion is not an option for many women, it was NEVER an option for me to have out-of-wedlock children. At the age of 31, every man I meet has an OOW child! I don't date them NOT because I'm childish, but I planned for my future and want a man who did the same - by any means necessary. Not down with OPP at all!

@afamqueen05 I did not say it was childish first off .Second good for you thoes are YOUR reasons for not dating a man with kids everyone is different . I was speaking on women who do not date men with kids JUST because they have kids. either way to each his own. this is just my personal oppinion. I respect yours

Now don't get me wrong...I am currently dating a man with a child who i love! But his BM is a crazy, jealous, bitter woman. And they only thing that makes me stay with my b/f is that fact that i have thick skin and can ingnore the shit out of his BM without it bothering me...but a lot women don't have that, or if they do don't even want to waste the energy. (which beleive me it take alot of energy to bite my tongue).

Some women don't date men with children not neccessarily b/c of the child but sometime it's b/c of the child's mother. and it one thign to have to deal with a child, it's another thign to have to deal with another grown ass woman. it not just you that person and the kid...it's you that person a kid and the kids mother....and SOME Baby Mother's are very bitter, an some women don't even want to deal w/ that drama and nor should they...

I am 31 years old and I don't have kids either and I don't want anything to do with a man with kids at all. If you have kids with someone if she was good enough to breed with she should have been good enough to wife. All this reckless breeding in the black community needs to stop. This also lets me know that this man has no sense of family unity about him so why would I want him? So I should let this man make me BM # 4 or 5 right along with my shorty.Lol.... yeah like I would let that happen!

@txasgal22 I respect yours as well. Childish/Selfish, on this subject, most times it's used interchangeably. I just find it ridiculous that there are SO MANY videos about this topic, mainly bashing. As much as I can't stand the fact that our community is polluted with this madness, I wouldn't dare call these "parents" ghetto, stupid, broke, damaged good, etc. It's disrespectful and like you said TO EACH HIS OWN. Yes, I don't date them JUST because! THIS IS NOT NORMAL and A LEGACY FROM SLAVERY!
