  • great demo, thank you!

do you think this think this thing is cool to add some analog and deepth to digital synth-sounds?

    I think I need one

  • @bibibibibiotip thanks! you already answered that question yourself, i think. notice that the synth run through the Sherman in this video is a (digital) Supernova.

  • Now I finally see why so many people say so many good things about the SFB. Great demo. Makes me wanna buy one.

  • @anoteoftruth

  • its soo insane how versatile you can be with just one filterbank ! and of course with somebody who knows his tool ;)

If you want Moog sound then you get a Moog, certainly not a Sherman.

I can't think of any two filters that are more different.

  • finally! mine will be arriving tomorro!! i cant wait to see what happens between this and my MPC!!!

  • oh it sounds as a bitcrusher at some moments! with that vocal sound!

  • Wow, i really don't like how that thing sounds. Cheers for the demo very useful

  • @DJPeteJames

i don't think it is harsh at all, just capable of brute aggression and it likes to squeeeeal at higher resonance .

in contrast, digital emulations of analog filters sound terribly harsh at high resonance, imho. It's hard to describe - one must compare the two types side-by-side to really know the difference.

DIN-sync ONLY cables are very rare today. iirc most, if not all MIDI cables made today will also work w/ DIN jacks, so DIN-only cables are obsolete. At least I've never needed one; and I used to use a tb-303& tr-909 before and now FR Revolution w/ STG modular time-buffer(eurorack compatible DIN-sync).
