The bermuda invited itself over -My sod is originally St.Augustine-

Should i continue to pull the St.augustine -original sod- Or am i shooting myself in the foot.

ive tilled my soil 4" depth,if i lay my st augustine sod on top are these weed's gonna grow thru?
