I understand the meaning of this song. Johnny was always for the down trodden and the people who were viewed as "evil". And as for the celebrities in the video. They are paying tribute and I thought it was a great way to honor him.

I thought the same thing. The gentleman in the beginning states Johnny identified with those who were "downtrotten". However, showing celebrities after that seems to mute the point.

Actually, Hitler was a practicing Christian he believed he was doing "god's will". Also, Stalin and Mao did not kill for a lack of god- common misconception as correlation does not equal causation here.There is not argument, history proves that the Abrahamic religions killed millions.
