A long drive in the Grampian Mountains well worth watching. Filmed on the 28th January 2007, includes footage from the Caingorm National Park, one of the Scottish Ski Resorts, a remote Scottish Castle, drive throughs of 4 villages and Glenlivet distillery. All accompanied by traditional Celtic & Highland music.

  • A road I know and have travelled well. I come from Uppder Donside and enjoyed watching it.

  • I used to have the pleasure of driving up to Strathdon School to Coach / Teach Rugby and I fell in love with the area. I just love driving there. I'm over joyed that you enjoyed the video I will make others in that area, so keep your eyes open for them.

  • Thanks for posting this lovely trip through the Gramps...I loved the views of the River Don;as a child I recall seeing a stretch of the Don(near Alford) that my Dad said was known as Paradise,it did indeed look like Paradise to my young eyes.

  • Thanks for the ride Andy. It reminded me of the day trips we make when we visit the northeast. Also enjoyed your tour of Huntly Castle. Do you have any footage of the countryside in and around Kennethmont? My father was born there but we haven't been back since 2002. All the best. Will from Ottawa.
