Gallery Yuragi, Kyoto, Japan; 2009. Plastic, aluminum, wood, thread. These three pieces were chosen in response to the unique qualities that Gallery Yuragi has. The small intimate rooms which look out into the garden, have a balance and direct relationship between interior and exterior space. Responding to this architectural design, the two interior pieces reflect the qualities of nature through their movement and relationship to their environment. The piece outside relates to the other two pieces, drawing a link between interior and exterior space.
