Jesus of Nazareth teaching in the temple in Jerusalem from the 1977 movie "Jesus of Nazareth" with Robert Powell as Jesus.

Beautiful words to live by; simple and succinct.

He later brings sight to a blind man and reprimands the religious leaders for suggesting that the man was never blind to begin with and continues to condemn them for their hypocritical behavior and attitudes.

Very powerful scene; moving and thought provoking !

  • A master pieces! I remember it back then 1977 it was the most view in TV history...

  • @humberlick

    Yes !

It is a 6 hour movie that was originally intended to be a mini TV series but it was so popular they bundled it together as a movie. I have watched it countless times over the years and I never tire of it. This is my favorite scene. His words reach into you and transform you.

  • Thanks!

  • I always like this film, at 09:50+ would that be just like the world elite and the bankers of today? with what Jesus is saying!!! taken from the elite and given to the "elect and the meek".

  • People must change before kingdoms will

    JESUS is LORD

  • "I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove."

  • fake and gay

  • The girl that plays mary is beautiful

  • I hate to say this at this time on this scene but I wonder just how many Protestants who judge Catholic Christians, even to go as far as to say we are not even Christians, watch this movie and don't even realize it's aCatholic inspired version of OUR LORD? Just wondered.

  • Christ, "The King"

  • Great actor but Jesus was suppose to be jewish and most of them were dark skinned and the long hair denotes the Nazereth oath. The nazerens were an occultic mystery schoolWhich is code so you wont understand for Satan Worship. They are Jewish in nature! But they also did'nt mingle with regular folks! they avoided dead bodies and corpses! never drank wine or ate grapes or raisins! They cut their hair off at the end of the oath and made two burnt sacrifies to their God! The devil! Yes, up is down!

  • and the world since has never changed...only the hearts of the people who see.

  • I don't like the way he is speaking as though in third person... I like Jim Cavezel .... Jesus is a humble man this voice doesn't suit Jesus.
