he is a great teacher, i had the big honnor to start Odissi and learn from him 3 pieces, mangala charan, basante pallavi and moksha,

it just hypnotises to watch his dancing!

Heard stories of how Kelu guruji would make students do the "Garuraasana" step involving moving forward while sitting, a hundred times till they got it perfect. Regards to maestros and their disciple who have kept the tradition alive for us to enjoy and participate in.

Wow what an honor. That makes you part of an important artistic liniage. I want to keep my eye open to see a great performance of Odissi. I live by Philadelphia PA. I have fallen in love with this dance form.

This is one of my favorite songs. The story is beautiful and accepting of differences. I would like to find an English translation to this song and the phonetic lyrics. Spanish or French would also be fine.
