This game was in fact my first final fantasy game. Being a ps3 owner I downloaded VII and X. I have to agree I loved them both and cried in bothDX however xiii will always have a place in my heart.

Final Fantasy 13 is nothing similar to Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7.

In fact, both of them are nothing similar to the original Final Fantasy Gameplay. Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 has the excuse of being a Spin-Off Game while Final Fantasy 13 is part of the Main Series Games and yet it's the most different from the rest.

Don't play Final Fantasy 13 as one of your first Final Fantasy Games or it will ruin your impression on Final Fantasy as a whole.

I partly agree with you, but the reason why I said I would play It over again is for the the continuation of the story. Its like when i am reading a book of a series. I don't start out with the latest book. I start from the beginning, the foundation, to get a sense of development.
