@kenlo77 There's so much wrong with that comment, I'd need to post three of my own just to explain it all, and this conversation is silly enough already. If you insist on being a "they can do no wrong" weeaboo with no clue about how the entertainment business actually works or the relative popularity of child idols in Japanese culture, go right ahead.

@Celedam You have quite an imagination. Other than Mini Moni and W Tsunku kept the two apart. Tsuji-san should have been in Happy 7 and 3 Nin ... She wanted to be, If you want them to create mischief, you wouldn't purposely keep them seperated. Not talented? The huge success of Mini Moni and W, and the popularity of the "two top" would indicate otherwise.

@kenlo77 You cannot seriously compare 2005 to 2001; four years is a lifetime for a young idol. By the time formed W, they'd had dozens, perhaps hundreds of concerts and television appearances to develop their stage presence and performance skills.

As for their antics, how does that change what I said? The management told them to be outrageous. That was their job. All the stories prove is that they were too immature to know when stop once they started, and they weren't really punished for it.

@Celedam You have quite an imagination. ... untalented? Mini Moni had the most commercial success second only to MM itself. W may have surpassed Mini Moni had Aibon not smoked, and ended it. Aibon and Nono were an amazing duet. Go watch Unlucky labratory where Yaguchi Mari relates some of their antics off stage, including harranguing Tsunku-san himself ... who called Nono a brat. Their mischievous behavior was not constructed ... it was who they were.
