Who is this Maurosso? You know, the worst thing about any sport is that you always get some know it all idiots that get frustrated because they lack both the discipline and intelligence to do well and end up posting comments/opinions that are completely unfounded.

@gundamDR You are clearly not a fencer so why post something that highlights this fact and look pathetic? I guarantee you that even if we used 'real' swords I would cut you to shreds. You wouldn't have the skill or discipline required, would probably run at me like an axe wealding toss pot and end up feeling pretty sorry for yourself. Like a boxer I'm also pretty handy with MY fists should you prefer.

Classical fencing as a combat art is very interesting and fun to watch. This "sport," however, is just plain boring and pointless. Stick waving that forgot about it's own roots and developed into something fugly. Pretty much as bodybuilding that changed from sculpting perfectly beautiful body to packing in as much fugly muscle mass as you possibly biologically can, without your guts piercing through your stomach due to steroid usage. That's why it isn't popular...

@Maurosso Have you watched this video? At all? There is not one single counter attack used. I'm sorry, but that kind of deems your argument irrelevent. If you see a single counter attack in there, things need to be said about your knowledge of fencing.
