DrRyman strikes again!!!! Smokin hot!! What's more, this is real music, not just playing with toys. The musicianship of the band is stellar - one can hear the non-verbal communication going on. Am afraid that with DrRyman on the "realstrat" keyboard, I will have to put away my guitars and take up the cajon and tambourine full-time! Thanks for sharing this awesome talent!

this improv jam is crushingly beautiful. DrRyman achieves sounds outside the Western scale that have never been heard before on a virtual (keyboard) guitar. brilliant! music that is at once futuristic and grounded in sounds we know from the present and past. it blew me away.

Well... sorta
This music has its roots in 1970s Jazz-rock "Fusion" which incorporates a lot of styles. One of the well known bands form this era, that incorporated spanish or latin feels was Chick Corea and the Return to Forever band. Later the guitarist, ( Al Di Meola ) continued that flavor on his albums. The drummer on my two live cuts ( Mingo Lewis) toured with the Al Di Meola band in the day. Hence the similarities. During the jams I did find myself channeling Al on guitar..
