  • As a kid I had the BEST staurday morning cartoon lineup...EVER! It started around 7:30

In order: Smurfs, He-man, Transformers, Visionaries, G.I. Joe, Dungeons & Dragons, Ghostbusters, Thundercats, Smurfs, Captain Planet.

And If you switched to channel 14, you could watch The Mask, Gummi Bears, Dark Wing Duck, She-ra, Astroboy, TMNT, Teddy Ruxpin, around the same time. Truely the GOLDEN AGE of cartoons.

  • I remembered all the good times with my childhood, the care free times and the greatest staurday mornings in my life and 1,000,000 time better then the crap show today.

Please post another one soon long live 80's cartoons.

  • GOD! Does anyone remember the cartoon where the kid would get overheated or mad or whatever and turn into the car??

  • best decade of my life!

  • i loved all of them except for the gummi bears i couldn't really get into them.

  • @parkinpants Yeah I did notice that, but I had thought it wasn't accurate. YouTube seems to be inaccurate since Google took it over, but that's my thought.

  • @zangazoo2007 - In fact you can see youtube has identified the soundtrack as Vince Dicola and has linked it to iTunes where it list the other tracks he did for the movie

  • @parkinpants Okay that would make sense because it was a bigger production. And I know that Anne worked with a couple other people when she did the music for Jem (besides Ford Kinder). :-)

  • @zangazoo2007 - just the movie as far as I am aware

  • @parkinpants Was he just in the TF Movie, or is he credited in the series too? :-)

  • @zangazoo2007 - He definitely did. Just google it. I've even got an interview with him talking about the music he did for the Movie.

  • @parkinpants Transformers was composed by Anne Bryant and Ford Kinder. Both musically and lyrically. I've met Anne in person and I do not recall her ever talking about Vince DiCola working on Transformers, but she might have hired him. I don't recall seeing his name in the credits.
