Bad news, those dumb asses in the city knocked this motel down. How can they do this? It's part of the history of Salton Sea. It's like knocking a building down in a historic site. Can we get rid of the dumb asses rather than the building?

abandoned hotels are they bomb,
there's about three here in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada...
so are houses..
houses are sooo much funnnn .

Someone built a tennis court! I wonder if anyone played on it, I guess so, and it looks like they did a pretty good job, its laid out real well. Would have nice to have seen it its prime. Being a tennis player I look for things like that....

Look closely at the sand of the white beaches. It's not salt. The bones of millions of dead fish and birds. Eerie place.

Ive lived in California all my life and Ive always heard of the Salton Sea, but today at 24 I saw it for the first time, just driving by, but I was absolutely struck by it. It looks beautiful from the highway, I want to see it close like this. I wish it were still the vacation hot spot it once was, I know I would like to go there without massive algae and fish die-offs.

It really is a very interesting place. They tore down this motel in November I think of '08. Have you heard of all the earthquakes they have had here recently? It was right in this area. If you get a chance, check out the Yacht Club which was near the morel here. I've been here at sunset and it is very beautiful! This is a strange place but it's worth checking it out at least once!
