Here's Paul's take on Classical guitar in this special lecture featured in the Japanese magazine Young Guitar from 2008. Paul uses a new way of teaching... By not telling you the notes or giving you tablatures or sheets! It's all in your ears this time around, listen carefully and watch his fingers go smooth as a warm knife through hot butter or like that guy who can't pronounce "FIFTH!" properly once said: "I want you to listen with your EARS, don't strain them!". Not much more information about this DVD at the moment other than I hope you..
enjoy listening and playing along with this DVD!
Note: The aspect ratio and resolution is UNTOUCHED so don't blame me for not being HD, the original size, in the end, worked out as the best!

  • I doubt Paul would diss Yngwie. There are several other videos on where Paul has listed Yngwie as an influence in his guitar playing. From my understanding Paul wrote Castle Dragon in the hopes that Yngwie would play a solo on it.

  • @Guitarmattms2010 Actually it was Viking Kong which is almost the same as Viking King in swedish, the country both me and Yngwie come from :)

  • 04:50 lol @japanese, did they really have to make subtitles for drum noises and that blolplplplpplpoah?

  • @Waltoooooo I didn't notice! Great find!

  • His tone here is totally awfull :s

  • @supafuzz100 Somebody who cares more for sound than looks.

  • I'd love to hear Paul covering Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody.

  • Who would pay that much for a guitar that is so fugly?

  • @Sivels People believe when he showed how scales Paganini often use sounds like. That it's suppose to be harmful and derogatory against Yngwie because his biggest influence is Paganini.

  • @mcintyreftw how did he diss yngwie?

  • don't like his tone ):

  • This is how I prefer classical or baroque on an electric guitar, i'm tired of all those crazy dumb tapped or sweep arpeggios virtuoso ego stuff.. great work Paul and nice tone !!
