Born in Ozieri, Italy, in 1990.
Moved to Oberägeri, Switzerland in 1991.
Drafted 19th overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by Philadelphia Flyers.
Traded to the Ducks during the Chris Pronger trade.
Currently playing with the team.
Signed a 4-year extension with the Ducks on March 8, 2011.

Nice tribute man. I was upset when he was originally traded but I think Pronger has worked out in Philly heh

@notyoursavior78 Man ? Women love hockey too you know ? ;) haha But yeah I think it's a win win trade for both teams. Philly got someone to destroy Cindy all the year and Ducks got Sbisa, Etem (1st round pick) and Beauchemin ( trade with Toronto for Lupul) in return.

I watch the Ducks ocassionally and I know they got the Caps old coach ha but how has Sbisa been doing? I never hear of him anymore. Obviously I'm sure you know that Pronger is out for the year. Eh I would have never made him captain at that point. I just didn't trust his health. He did certainly bring a lot to the team when he was on the ice but I woulda made Briere or Timonen captain.

@notyoursavior78 Hello ! I think the best way to describe Sbisa's performance so far is to say he does what he is asked to do. No more no less. He isn't bad neither fantastic, but he is solid considering his age. And right now that's just what the Ducks need.

Yeah I would expect him to be named captain, Hopefully he can put his recent injuries behind him and lead the team from near the start of the regular season this year. Another interesting season is ahead for Flyers fans with the new additions and subtractions.

@notyoursavior78 I have to agree with you. I've been following Sbisa since he was a Flyer, too. He's lightning quick, like a young Kapanen, and he's smart on defense. I wish we still had him as a Flyer, but as you said, we need Pronger (perhaps as our yet-to-be-named captain?).

haha sorry about that. I couldn't really tell just by your user name. I was looking for Pronger on his draft day and this came up and I was like. That's kinda random :) Anyhow yeah the trade has definitely worked out for both teams.
