After getting John Borack's Shake Some Action for Christmas two years ago, I have tried working my way through the books list of the all-time Top 200 Power Pop albums. Coming in at #86 was Receiver's Inspiration Overload. Personally, I give Borack a lot of credit for not listing this album higher, since he was the drummer in the band for a while, although he didn't perform on the record.

Luckily, I stumbled over a copy in the discount bin at my local used CD shop a month or so ago. Popping it into the stereo as soon as I got back to the car, the disc remained there for the next two weeks. An incredible record that doesn't appear to have generated a follow-up. Our loss.
